Mr Davenport received his First Degree Black belt in Shotokan Karatedo in the USA in 1964.
He earned a Fourth Dan in Kyokushinkai Karatedo at the Honbu in Tokyo Japan in 1967.
He placed second at the Euro-Asian Full contact tournament held in Heidelberg Germany in 1969.
Having instituted the first college accredited Karate class in the state of Florida he taught it from 1972 till 1982.
During that time he received instruction and certification in Muso Jikden Eishin-ryu Iaido from Hachidan Talasda Sensei (1975)
Mr Davenport moved to Las Vegas a year ago at the request of a former student. He brings with him over forty years of Martial
Arts experience with twenty-plus years of direct teaching.
